Leading Edge - Autumn 2007

215 KB image/jpegDesigned by Andy Dovell, of Murray, Burns & Dovell, to be the most powerful yacht that could be packed into a container, or towed on a trailer, without the need for a heavy vehicle licence, the Radical 40 had to be lightweight, but also needed to be stiff and strong to withstand the rigours of performance racing. Mac Dalton from ATL worked with Andy and Mike Rose of Radical Yachts, to build the ultimate 40' containerable, canting-keel yacht.
