Leading Edge - Winter 2005
Designed by Grahame Parker Design, the Brisbane City Councils' CityCats have alloy hulls and composite superstructures. The Brisbane City Council chose DuFLEX composite panels for the construction of the super-structures to reduce weight and maintenance, also to allow for the inclusion of compound shapes to improve the aesthetics of the vessels.

DuFLEX Strips for Murray Burns Dovell 40
The brief from owner Rick Morgan was for a shorthanded cruiser/racer that would perform exceptionally well with very small cruise numbers. The design utilises water ballast tanks and a bulb keel to provide high righting moment without the hassle of large crew numbers sitting along the rail.

Leading Edge - Autumn 2005
Record Breaker
English yachtswoman, Ellen MacArthur, established the solo, round the world non-stop sailing record this year in the 22.7m trimaran, Castorama B&Q. The arduous 71-day, 27,000 nautical mile passage was completed without any structural failures.
